Sweet, tangy dressing. I had never heard of pomegranate molasses but it was well worth the hunt to find this ingredient and found it at an international market. The dressing was part of a Bobby Flay salad recipe using spinach, blue cheese and apples. Nice alternative to Italian dressing and makes a great marinate for chicken.

  1. Whisk together the pomegranate molasses, vinegar, mustard, honey and salt and pepper in a medium bowel. Slowly whisk in olive oil until emulsified.

The olive oil was too overpowering for me. Next time I would cut back on the oil, use a mild vegetable oil and add a little water to thin it out.

Very good - four stars. I made this recently just as stated. I had bought some pomegranate molasses and wanted to use it. I found this recipe made a lot and next time will make half a recipe. I thought this was too thick and had to thin it with water. Next time I will add some water up front so it will toss on the salad better. Also, in the future I will start with half as much dijon mustard, I felt it was too spicey for my tastes. Thanks for posting, desertgirlz3, good recipe using pomegranate molasses.
