This is excellent. I added a tsp. of lemon juice to the butter as I was cooking the bacon & onions and 2 packets of 1 gram splenda.It is also a quick recipe and an ideal "starter" recipe to add any more additions: vegetables, of your choice.

  1. In a large deep skillet frie the bacon and onions with the butter and garlic.
  2. Add the cabbage, and continue to saute covered until the cabbage is cooked through. You may need to add some water to the skillet to help the cabbage cook through without browning too much.
  3. Add the cooked bow tie pasta and season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook until warmed through.
