I used apples from my backyard tree and ended up with slices/chunks. Very tasty. Enjoyed warm.
I made this before Christmas and totally forgot to review it, yikes! Anyway, this was a hit in my book. What's not to love about all of the ingredients especially when they come together so tastefully! I made 2 servings and one I had very warm and one cold and enjoyed it both ways. For me it would be warm in the winter and chilled in the summer. Apples and spice with creamy yogurt, yum.
Really lovely recipe. The cloves perfumed the apples as they cooked and a marvellous syrup resulted. The yoghurt sauce is a wonderful accompaniment. I personally preferred this dessert cold - straight out of the fridge.
