Plain Ole Pancake, eh!

"This is one of my first plain pancakes I used to make before I got into fancier types. But with butter, whipping cream and some homemade blueberry jam - OH YES... you are in heaven with every mouthful!!!"

  • Mix oil, egg and milk in a large bowl.
  • Stir together flour, baking powder and sugar.
  • Add dry ingredients to liquid ingredients.
  • Blend well.
  • Add soda water.
  • Drop 1/2 cupfuls of batter onto lightly oiled griddle.

  2. Trying to get away from boxed foods, I tried this while my granddaughter was staying overnight. We loved them. The only thing I did different was I thought the baking powder was too much, so I used 4 teaspoons instead of tablespoons. I didn't have a clue as to what soda water was, but I put 1 t. of soda to a cup of water. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
