This idea came from a schoolmate a long time ago. She was a terrible cook but this was the one thing shemanaged to make delicious. You can add any of your favorite ingredients and make tons of variations.
Ingredients:
-
1 (12 ounce) box
tri-color spiral pasta
(Bowties and Pene work well too)
-
1 (6 ounce) package
pepperoni slices
(you can also use stick pepperoni and just dice it)
-
1 (8 ounce) package
fresh
mozzarella cheese
, cubed
-
1 pint
grape tomatoes
, halved
-
1 (5 ¾ ounce) can
jumbo
olives
, halved
-
½ cup
red onion
, chopped
-
1 (16 ounce) bottle
Italian dressing
(if you can find the Roasted Red Pepper Italian Dressing, go with that one)
-
½ cup
parmesan cheese
, to top
Directions:
1
Boil Pasta according to package directions. Make sure to drain and cool the pasta before adding other ingredients.
2
In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the Parmesan Cheese. Let marinade in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
3
Before serving, add Parmesan cheese and toss.

This recipie is great for adding your own ideas. I've made a greek pasta salad using tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives, feta cheese and greek dressing. Enjoy!
