directions

  • whisk yeast into warm water and let sit 10 minutes.
  • blend all dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
  • add Olive oil and water/yeast mix into dry ingredients.
  • mix to a stiff dough.
  • cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • punch down and cut into 2 equal portions.
  • round, cover and let rest 5 more minutes.
  • flatten by hand or with a rolling pin on a floured surface.
  • transfer to a pizza pan or screen.
  • top with whatever sauce, cheese and toppings that you like.
  • bake in a 425 degree oven for about 23 minutes.

  1. I used half of this recipe tonight ti make a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza (half Hawaiian and 1/2 veggie). It turned out great. Adding the pepper was a new twist for me but we liked it. It was beautifully golden on the bottom and sides, I like deep dish style, and very light textured on the inside. Made for PAC, Spring 2014.
