"These are little sausage balls that you dip in a warm pizza sauce. Really good and I rarely have any left when I make these."

ingredients

• 226.79 g bulk breakfast sausage
• 473.18 ml all-purpose flour
• 59.14 ml grated parmesan cheese
• 9.85 ml italian seasoning
• 4.92 ml salt
• 157.80 ml shortening
• 78.78-118.29 ml ice water

• Pizza Dipping Sauce

• 236.59 ml tomato sauce
• 29.58 ml parmesan cheese
• 14.79 ml vegetable oil
• 1.23 ml dried oregano
• 1.23 ml garlic salt
• 1.23 ml salt

directions

1. Brown meat in frying pan; drain excess fat.
2. Combine flour, cheese, Italian seasoning and salt in mixing bowl.
3. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Add sausage; mix until evenly distributed.
5. Sprinkle with ice water and stir until dough is just moist enough to handle.
6. Shape into 1-inch balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake at 450F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

i just the sauce im not the type who eats meat so i ate the sauce with pizza it was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I tried the sauce with a cooking class that I teach in an elementary school and we served them with pretzels. It was tasty!
