Take your favorite Pizza recipe cut the dough in half and use it as a top crust for the pizza. I included 2 of my favorite pizza ingredient recipes and I brush the top with buttery seasoning.

  1. Cut your pizza dough in half.
  2. Stretch one half on your pizza stone (I use the one from Pampered Chef--it's the best).
  3. Place sauce, cheese and toppings add more cheese on top of toppings.
  4. Stretch 2nd half of dough over pie.
  5. Crimp edges to form closer.
  6. If i use mushrooms or onions I sauté first with garlic in olive oil or butter.
  7. Melt 2 TBS butter (you can also use olive oil) brush on top crust with some Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper and or some Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake 500 degrees 15 to 20 minutes depending on oven and desired crispiness.
  9. Let stand 10 minutes from oven.
  10. Cut and serve.
