A simple yet delish appetizer! You can use canned green chilies but it is SO much better if you roast your own chilies !

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. toast tortilla until lighty browned.
  3. remove from oven.
  4. while its still hot add toppings beginning with shredded cheese.
  5. add green chilie strips.
  6. add tomato slices.
  7. sprinkle onion all over.
  8. return the tortilla to oven and bake til cheese has melted.
  9. remove and cut in serving size portions.
  10. I cut it with a pizza cutter.
  11. serve with a side of salsa if desired.
  12. enjoy !
