Pink Stuff! lol I never knew anyone else to call it that. Someone in my family always makes it for every holiday! My sister loves it. We never knew the name of it so we always just say "Hey whos bringing the pink stuff"..It's pretty good stuff.
I love this stuff. My aunt made it for a family reunion and I HAD to get the recipe.... I've tweeked it a bit though... I put the Stuff between two layers of freshly sliced bananas as I serve it..... It's VERY addicting not to mention adds color to the plate.
Where I live, the Jell-o only comes in a 3-oz. or 6-oz. box, not 8. So I used the 6-ounce box. Are the Jell-o crystals supposed to get softer after it sets? Because we didn't care for the gritty texture of the undesolved crystals after making the recipe as is. I wound up desolving the 3-oz box of Jell-o in 1 cup of boiling water, adding 12 more ounces cottage cheese, and an additional 8 ounces crushed pineapple. I mixed it all together and let it sit overnight. The next day, we did have a 5-star recipe. The flavor was SOOOO DELICIOUS! Thanks for sharing!!
Easy, tasty, fantastic texture. Am looking forward to experimenting with various combos on this one. Thanks!
My wife and son loved this stuff. It only stayed in the house for one day.
I can't get enough of this wonderful dessert! So easy to make and so yummy! Love the texture and the fact that you can make this low calorie and it is still to die for!
This recipe gets a big YUM YUM from the 9 year old chef, StinaWina. It is the first recipe I tried on this site and I loved it. Kids would really like this dessert.
this is about my favorite dessert ever! I often make it with orange flavored jello and I add a can of mandarin oranges. I`ll be making this one for our monthly girls night...the theme this month is Princess Party haha
This has been in my family for as long as I can remember! Grandma's speciality! YUMMY! The difference being that we add a little boiling water to the jello so that it dissolves, let it set a little and then mix in the pineapple. Chill a little again and add cottage cheese, fold cool whip into mixture .
Wow-I couldn't believe how much everyone loved this crazy salad-apparently, it's a favorite of many families!!! I took it to the office and it was gone in a second-everyone thought it was DELICIOUS! Thank you, halbert_a, for a great recipe! Made for the Think Pink Tag Game In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, October 2008.
