  • Mix yogurt, sugar, crushed pineapple, eggs, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, grenadine, bananas, and pecans together.
  • Grease bread pan.
  • Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 60 minutes or until done.

  1. I made this as one large rectangular cake and it worked really well. As I had no grenadine I added some strawberries to pinkify it a bit. Made for Think Pink Tag.
     
  2. Oh mmm, this bread is amazing! It tastes soooo yummy with the pineapple and banana combination! Loved the pecans in this! I doubled the amount as I thought there were too little in there. They really made the bread special, so Im glad I used more. :)<br/>I was out of grenadine, but really wanted to try this, so I used a pinkish plum applesauce for this and it worked out nicely, although of course the bread didnt come out that pink.<br/>Since I dont like my breads too sweet, I reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup and that was plenty for me.<br/>THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing a real keeper with us, Dienia!<br/>Made and reviewed for Think Pink October 2011.
