This smoothie came about because I had leftover pineapple juice and coconut milk. If you use frozen bananas you may not need the ice. Yummy way to start the day!
- 1⁄2 cup oatmeal
- 1⁄2 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
- 1⁄2 cup coconut milk
- 2 small bananas
- ice cube
- Put all ingredients in blender and blend until desired consistancy.
This was a great start to my Sunday morning. I used frozen bananas, and added a few chunks of pineapple into the mix as well. The oatmeal was a great addition and helped keep my full until lunch! Thanks for posting! Made for Holiday Tag April 2010!
I really like the addition of oatmeal to smoothies. Makes them more filling. This is a good recipe for those leftover juices and coconut milk.
