Fabulous buttery goodness!! Delicious....10 star recipe!! Thank you for posting! I sub butter for margarine...and pineapple juice for milk.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt first amount of margarine in a 9x9-inch pan.
  3. Arrange rings over melted butter.
  4. Insert cherries inside centre of rings.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Cream second amounts of margarine and sugar together well in mixing bowl.
  8. Add eggs and beat.
  9. Mix in vanilla.
  10. Mix flour, baking powder and salt, together in small bowl.
  11. Add flour mix to margarine mixture in 3 parts alternately with milk in 2 parts, beginning and ending with flour.
  12. Stir after each addition until blended.
  13. Pour over the top of the pineapples.
  14. Bake in oven for 40-50 minutes.
  15. Loosen edges with knife.
  16. Invert onto plate and cool.
  17. Serve with whipped cream.
