Dole put out this recipe in a WW magazine.
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, reserve juice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 banana
- 1 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup strawberry
- Place all ingredients in a blender and cover.
I made this smoothie for the basement tag game and liked it very much. Of course I made some changes...I used the entire can of pineapple including the juice, so no additional juice is needed. I don't like having to buy vanilla yogurt since I usually have plain on hand, I used that and just added a teaspoon of vanilla and a tablespoon of Splenda. I also used slightly less yogurt about 2/3 cup.
With the new WW points plus the only things you have to count are the yogurt and maybe a little of the juice so it is at most a 2 points plus value per serving.
