  1. My children thought I was crazy so I was glad to find this on here. I have ate pinapple sandwiches and banana sanwiches all my life..only we used Bama Mayo. They are delicious!!

  2. I also grew up eating these but it was BluePlate mayo in our house. Was craving this the other day, glad to see it posted.

  3. I really like this. I used wheat bread as I am trying to be healthier. I also used light mayo. This was very yummy. I wonder how it would tast grilled? I may have to try that. I am now alternating between this and apple cream dream sandwich (also on zaar). These are both yummy vegetarian lunches.

  4. I grew up eating these, too, and yes, they are delicious! It also surprised me that so many people had never heard of a banana sandwich! When I was in grammar school, many of the kids who wintered in our area with their parents found both of these sandwiches to be a novelty! BTW - A banana sandwich is made the same way (although some people (Elvis, for instance) add peanut butter on the bread! LOL Thanks for posting!

  5. I grew up eating these as well, but in our house it was with Duke's mayonnaise. Never quite got the hang of Miracle Whip! Still eat them (with mayo) and still love them. Thanks BamaKathy!
