  1. Prepare rice according to pkg.
  2. directions.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In a bowl, combine pineapple, onions, chili and cilantro.
  5. Mix and set aside.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Saute garlic until golden brown.
  8. Add cooked rice and stir.
  9. Add soy sauce and sugar.
  10. Stir and heat thoroughly.
  11. Fold in pineapple mixture and heat thoroughly.

Good combination of ingrideints and tastes. i cut back on the onions to two and a half, added some of the fresh pineaplle juice (2 teaspoons). WOW everybody loved it.

Very good rice dish. And so colorful. I love the taste combination of onions and pineapple. I made it as written, except doubled the garlic, as we are garlic lovers. Thanks for posting Danny.
