Love this one in summertime! It is a refreshing and out of this world smoothie. Great for breakfast or as a mid-day perk.
- 16 ounces Sprite
- 1 cup pineapple slice
- 2 cups ice
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup pineapple slice (for decoration)
- Put all the ingredients (except for pineapple sliced decorations) in a blender and blend well for about 1 minute.
- Pour the smoothies into fancy glasses and add straws. Place a wedge of pineapple on the rim of the glass and serve promptly.
Instead of the ice & sliced pineapple I used frozen pineapple chunks & cut back on the sugar by half! Still had a very tasty drink & found a recipe worth keeping! Thanks! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in the current Pick-A-Chef]
