This delicious fluff brings back wonderful memories. My BF had never had it and really liked it! I added a can of apricots to this fluff as I had some, but followed the recipe otherwise. I will be using this great recipe again!
I love this fluff! I use a standard 16 oz container of small curd cottage cheese and a small box (3oz) of gelatin (any flavor) and it tastes great. Such a great sweet treat.
I have been making this SAME recipe for awhile now. It was passed down to me as well. I can not put into words how YUMMY this is. I have seen and made different variations of this without the cottage cheese, but it is not the same. I would suggest to everyone, do not make any changes to this. It is excellent just the way our mom's use to make it
This is yummy. I made it for a family gathering and it went quick. I also use other flavors with this recipe (strawberry jello and strawberries and etc.). This recipe is a keeper.
Just exactly the way I remember it. Thanks!
Wow this was delicious....I didn't have cottage cheese so I substituted light sour cream....quite a lovely taste; also added a 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple instead of 8 ounces; and of course used sugar free jell-o. We used this as a dessert. Thanks Jamie for a keeper
I thought the flavor of this was great. But since I've never made this before, I made the jello with the water first and mixed the rest of the ingredients in. It didn't set very well and I suspect because in step one, you might have meant to add the jello 'powder' with the cottage cheese instead of mixing the jello as the package says with water. I will make it again using only the powder in step one to see if it turns out less runny.
