I had high hopes for this dish, but it was a bit boring and bland. I added a little salt and some sweet chili sauce to it and it was awesome after that.
This came out very bland. I was hoping for some of the sweetness other reviewers complained about but I didn't really taste much of anything. I ended up getting out some sweet & sour sauce to at least have some flavour.
Overall this was a good recipe. I really enjoyed the flavors. I did find it a bit sweet and normally I do like sweet things but I found it hard to want to eat the leftovers. I would make this again but probably not anytime soon.
Awesome! I have made this twice now and I think it does better on a low heat setting. It got slightly rubbery after cooking on high. Still good though! Served with Jasmine rice.

Good, easy, and very convenient to make ahead. Used boneless skinless breasts and prepared in the oven. Dish is mild and slightly sweet with a tang from the ketchup and onion. Used homemade pineapple preserves which aren't as syrupy sweet as commercial varieties. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
I didn't really care for the flavors in this. The pineapple preserves were far too sugary and sweet, and the combination of the pineapple and ketchup was not something I found very enjoyable. Everything froze well and cooked up well, I just didn't like the flavors.
My family and I did not care for this. The onions seemed to overpower the dish and didn't blend well with the pineapple. We liked how sweet it is, but found it a bit bland.
This is good but a little on the sweet side. I like it grilled then mixed with sautÃ©ed onions and bell-peppers for fajitas.
I used the crockpot method, and the chicken looked a little funny-very dark from the sauce, but it tasted great. My family enjoyed it and asked for it again.
