I've made this a few times and keep forgetting to rate it. Definately 5 STARS!!! It is very similiar to the old Kraft pineapple spread that use to come in the little jars that ended up as juice glasses in our cupboard. I like the original recipe as written but more often I use whipped cream cheese because I make this as a simple spread instead of a cheese ball. I have also reduced the sugar simply because some of my family is diabetic and they insist on eating this anyway! I make it with or without the nuts depending on who I'm making it for. My favorite cracker for the softer spread is plain Ritz crackers. But be careful... this is very addicting, especially for the pineapple lover! Thanks DoryJean!
