Love it, love it, love it! So simple, yet delicious. I subbed in 2 Tbs of honey for the brown sugar. I grilled the chicken after marinating several hours, then at the last moment before it came off the grill, I basted it with a little reserved pineapple juice and a squirt of honey. Made a lovely glaze. This marinade recipe is a regular at my house!

This is the best teriyaki chicken I have made. I halved the sugar in it. We marinated the tenders for 5 hours, and it wasn't too sweet, and yielded a subtle, but yummy taste. If you marinate in a ziplock bag, half the amount of marinade could be used.

I tried this marinade with pork chops. They were in the marinade for almost 24 hours. It was tasty but a bit too sweet for DH. Thanks Mag05 Made for PAC Spring 2008.

This make an excellent quick marinade. I used it on boneless, skinless chicken breast and think it would also be wonderful on a pork tenderloin. Made for PAC Spring 2008.

We had this with steamed vegetables, rice pilaf, and fresh pineapple. This is the kind of meal my kids really dig, a request it often sort of deal. It's one of those meals that you just keep grabbing one more little tender, just one more. Before you know it, you've made a pig of yourself! I've made a marinade similar to this before but never by heating up the ingredients first. I made the marinade in the morning and let the chicken sit for the rest of the day. Chicken caramelized on the grill and was such a beautiful color. I will try cutting back on the sugar next time. Would make great kabobs. Made for Spring PAC 2008.

Holy Cow is this good! My husband and I both nominate this as one of the best recipes of the year...normally he's not big on fruit with meat but the pineapple taste is subtle. We marinated tenderloins overnight and they are deeelish...you need to try this! Next time instead of tenderloins we're going to marinate chicken for the grill.
