Any combination of fruit works well in this refreshing shake recipe.
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 medium firm banana, quartered
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄8 teaspoon coconut extract (optional)
- In a food processor or blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately.
Great tangy smoothie! I love buttermilk. I made it as directed omitting the coconut extract and adding some vanilla and Splenda. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.
This shake was faboulous!!!!!! I left out the extract as I thought it would change the taste extemely and I liked it as it was! Thanks for the recipe looneytunesfan!
