This was a nice switch for chicken, also simple to prepare. I accidentally bought a smaller can of pineapple, so I also halved the brown sugar. I felt this actually may have cut back on the sweetness, as it was not overly sweet. I did feel it could use a little more kick, is was a little bland. But we did enjoy it and would make it again. Made for ZWT 2011.

It sounded good, but the sauce was too bland and too sweet. Maybe add some chopped green and/or red bell peppers to it, or more mustard, might add some needed zip.

The recipe seemed simple enough, but the sauce was not that flavorful, was completely charred after about twenty minutes in the oven, and left my family questioning my cooking skills. It wasn't entirely terrible, but certainly not something I'd bother with again.

Used thighs. Served with jasmine rice and sweet peas. Excellent weekday meal. The sauce was very thin though, so I transferred a good portion of it to a saucepan and reduced it for a few minutes to thicken.

This was good, but very sweet. I think it may have been the lime juice I used Roses lime juice. I want to make this again, but use fresh limes. Maybe that will make a difference. It was easy to make and the chicken was nice and tender. Thanks for a good recipe.

I made this today, for the family that I cook for. I was dipping & tasting the sauce before I baked the chicken... and well, it was clear that I had a winner!! The recipe doubled easily, and the end result was moist, tasty chicken with gravy to die for. I served it with jasmine rice- a perfect partner for a pineapple based dish. Thank you, Parsley, for another "notch in my belt". Wish I could give it 10 stars!!!

As I am looking through old recipes that I collected, I found this recipe in my binder with a few stars!! Made this before I became a regular member of Zaar but thought I would at least let you know that we really enjoyed your recipe and I will make it again soon to make a more substantial review!! Thanks Parsley!

This was easy & great! I cut the brown sugar back to 1/4 c, & it was still sweet. Didn't have lime juice,so used lime granules & no extra liquid. There was still a lot of juices to put over rice! Made this way, I calculated 7 weight watchers points! I packed up 1/2 portions with rice & veggies for ww lunches. Yum!

My family ate it all in no time! The chicken was very moist and the pineapple mixture was perfect-not too sweet. Served with rice and it was very tasty. I will make it again. Thank you for something so simple!

The whole family liked this recipe, even the picky daughter! I used fresh pineapple I had on hand that I didn't want to go to waste, whirled in the food processor so it was like crushed. Next time I will use lemon juice instead of lime, (just personal taste), and add a little cornstarch to the sauce before baking just to thicken it a bit. The sauce was fabulous with rice!
