Pineapple and Cheese Salad

This tastes like dinner at Grandma's house to me. I use a cheese like Colby or mild cheddar. Time does not include to set.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Bring to boil one 15 oz. can (small) crushed pineapple, one cup water and 1/2 cup sugar.
  2. Add to this mixture one package lemon jello. Set in fridge to cool.
  3. When beginning to set, add 1/2 c walnuts chopped fine, 1 cup grated cheese, 1 cup cream (whipped quite stiff). Put into molds and let set.
