Excellent pina colada! I used unsweetened coconut milk and added 2 packets of Equal. These are very good! You can sure mix them up in no time at all. I think I'll make a lot more of these!! Thank you Dawn!

WHOO-HOO!!! Whipped up a batch of these & met my husband at the door with a glass. Just what the doctor ordered to end a long and hot-and-humid Friday! We drank 3 of these and skipped dinner...Boy, are they good. I followed the recipe exactly, but with the specified amount of ice, mine didn't blend to a 'slush' - was a little more creamy (no harm done at all). I wouldn't add more ice, though. The blend of flavors is just right as the recipe states.

I thought the banana was overwhelming. Even after adding more coconut and rum it just tasted like an alcoholic banana smoothie.

I wanted to like this so much, but was turned off from a bitter aftertaste. It must have been from the coconut milk, so I will try a different kind next time. (couldn't find coco lopez in our area). Thanks for sharing!

This is very good. My DH and I really enjoyed this. I also made this virgin. Mine didn't get as slushy as I wanted. I'll add more ice next time. Thanks for sharing.

OMG! This Pina Colada recipe is the best! Everyone in my family loved it ( made virgin for my kiddo) as well as all of our friends. This is not too sweet Pina Colada, and it's good for you with banana and all ;) We can't get enough of it! I did add more rum though..

Best Pina Colada I have found... I also increased the rum to 6 ounces and my guest loved it! Thanks for this keeper.

I've made these twice now and it's a great way to use up those bananas that are hanging around starting to get a little too ripe. I recommend increasing the rum to 6 ounces for a little more flavor. Very good and EZ to make.

Wonderful and very refreshing! Not too intensely sweet like some Colada recipes. This one is filled with flavor and just hits the spot! I used banana liqueur because I had no bananas on hand and I also used coconut rum which helped to intensify the coconut flavor. It was top-drawer! Loved it Dawn! Thank you for a great recipe!

Darn that Bobby Flay!! I can't stand the man, but he sure knows how to make a kick-*#! Pina Colada!!! Had a bonfire last night and whipped up a batch of these. I think between myself and my one friend we slurped it down to the last drop!! This is wonderful!! Of course, we made it with the alcohol, used Coco-Lopez (it's cream of coconut, but why make a fuss about it?? No biggie) I foresee these being a staple in my summer diet!lol.(Hey, I figure if I'm going to indulge, I might as well sneak in a few of my "five a day"!! hee-hee) Thanks for posting a great recipe!! ~Manda
