It's not a cook-out with out!
- 4 cans green beans
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 cups Italian dressing (bottled; regular, creamy, low fat-whatever you like)
- Combine all ingredients and chill for at least 2 hours.
- (best chilled overnight).
So easy and so good! I cut the recipe in half and cut the dressing to 1/2 cup of lowfat Italian and it was still wundebar - Thanks princess buttercup
We must have the same Mom! I have been searching FOREVER for a straight up from my childhood italian dressing and this was it. Everybody that tries it raves about it. THANKS so much for posting.
There is a lot of dressing, but I feel it is necessary to let the beans marinate. I "tweeked" it a little and added 1 Tbs of my fresh chopped basil & 1 1/2 cups of diced fresh mozzarella. Kind of caprise style.
