For the corned beef I have listed... you will never buy a pre-packaged corned beef again...
- 2 cinnamon sticks, broken
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 2 teaspoons black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 teaspoon juniper berries
- 1 teaspoon crumbled mace
- 1 teaspoon dill seed
- 4 dried bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried ginger (preferably in a whole form)
- Mix together all the ingredients.
- Store in a small, airtight jar up to 2 months.
I have been looking for a good pickling spice for my Corned Beef this St. Patty's Day! Can't wait to try it!
