- 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
- 1⁄2 cup tarragon vinegar
- 2⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 medium onion, sliced into rings
- 2 (4 ounce) cans button mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 6 drops red pepper sauce
- In a tightly covered jar,shake dressing mix,vinegar and water.
- Add oil,sugar,garlic and red pepper sauce,shake to mix.
- Stir in onion rings and mushrooms.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
