This reminded me of the pickled cucumbers my grandmother made. They were always so good with fresh from the garden cucumbers. I reduced the recipe and used splenda. Thank you for sharing the recipe! Made for ZWT6~ Scandinavia.

Made this for the first time and it was great, I let it marinate longer than required and it tasted evenbetter.

I have always loved marinated cucumbers and these were very good. It got mixed reviews here at our house, myself and DH felt it was too sweet for us and DS's girlfriend loved the added sweetness, compared to my normal. I made this as written, but made 1/3 of the recipe and used thinly sliced red onion (used my mandolin) and used 1/2 garlic salt and 1/2 of the table salt recommended (in place of the full amount of salt). Thanks for sharing the recipe!! Made for you win in the Super Bowl 2013, congrats again!!!

Yummy!! I love pickled cucumbers and loved this recipe. It is a lot like the ones my Dad made many years ago with fresh cucumbers right out of the garden. Thanks for sharing. Made for Football Pool 2011.

These were just plain yummy! I ate the whole bowl myself. They reminded me of the kind my mom and grandmother used to make. Another great recipe Jim.
