- 1 1⁄2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce Cointreau liqueur
- 1⁄2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
- 4 ounces fresh lemonade
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker and mix well.
- Pour over ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
OH, this is GOOD!!! The lemonade adds a great zip. I made them for 4 in a quart jar with a lid and shook them up good, poured them over ice--sat on the deck and enjoyed them with a plate of crackers and meunster cheese. YUM! Thanks Lorac!
A great drink to serve with Mexican food. We always use Cointreau with our drinks, but the addition of fresh lemonade gave it a lip smacking tang. Really, really good, and the ingredients you almost always have on hand. Thanks for posting, my guests thank you for posting too!!
