I am country girl that lives in a small town outside of the capital city.I love to cook and find new thing to cook.I love to two-step and dance with with my my friends.I am a huge Duke basketball fan. That is why I named myself what I did.I am also a huge Carolina Hurricanes fan. I am close to my family and love to cook for other people.I cook for my aunt and other family members to give them a special treat at holidays.I have always loved that kind of thing. My family raised me to be honest and to have manners.I try to be respectful of other peoples feelings. But, I do not like to be talked down too.I try not to do that to anybody. I do have a temper when I feel like I am pushed to far.If I feel like I am right I will stand up for myself.Nobody will make me think that they are right if I think that I am. I am the daughter of a firefighter who had a heart attack when I was 10 years old.My whole live change then.I had to learn to read lables and watch everything that I ate.I guess that is why I still don't use alot of salt or fry alot of foods. I have always loved to try to make other people feel special by trying to fix them foods that they liked.I also want to fix foods for my friends for their birthdays. I also do support the miltary.Alot of my friends have served or are in the military now.My state has alot of bases in it so the military is sotra a big thing here. I am single but, I try to be the best person that I can be.I try to be sorta the mother hen of the family.I know that my mother says that I am a better cook than she is.If I am it is because that my grandmother thought me how to cook. I do know that she was the best cook that I have ever know.I just wish that she had wrote down some of the reipes that she had.She did wrote down some of them.I am going to post them on line later on so that I won't lose them. My family raised me to be honest. So If I give your recipe a bad review it is because I really had a bad time with the recipe.I was raised to have good manners and try to think of other peoples feelings. So, I do really try. Most of the recipes that I have tried .I really do like.I may tell what I changed or what I might do a little different. But, I don't do that to make you feel bad.I do that to help other people who might not think of ways to change the recipe.
