Pesto & Sun-Dried Tomato Spread

This comes from my aunt who makes a GREAT homemade pesto. A great appetizer that goes very well with wine. If you're like me and not a huge fan of goat cheese-you can substitute the goat cheese with more cream cheese/try feta. If you're looking for a great pesto recipe I recommend #81307. cooking time is chilling time. the longer it sits, the better the flavours.

  1. cream together the cheeses, until well blended.
  2. add the pesto and tomatoes.
  3. put into a serving dish/shape into a rectangle.
  4. top with walnuts.
  5. chill and serve.

(Took longer to wash up)> Loved this spread- tasted great when made...tasted even better the next day I'm not a goat cheese fan , so used Australian fetta cheese in its place. Also made this when I had guests doesn't like walnuts- so I used pecans as a substitute. Delicious. A big hit with everyone who tried it.
