    Directions:

      Preheat the oven to 400°F.
    2. 2
      In a small bowl, combine the fresh basil, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
    3. 3
      Coat the top of the pitas with non-stick cooking spray.
    4. 4
      Evenly spread the basil mixture over the tops of the pitas.
    5. 5
      Coat again with non-stick cooking spray.
    6. 6
      Sprinkle with salt& freshly ground black pepper to taste.
    7. 7
      Cut each pita into 8 wedges.
    8. 8
      Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until pita wedges are golden and crisp.
