An appetizer the color and shape of a Christmas tree. That's what you'll have when you make this recipe. It's easy and it's cute. Recipe comes from Jeanne Bice's "Quacker Factory Christmas."

  1. Cut the cream cheese in half diagonally, going corner to corner to form 2 triangles. Place triangles together. long straight edges together and short straight sides on the bottom, to form a Christmas tree shape on a serving plate. (A Christmas tree shaped plate would be perfect!) Top with pesto and insert a cinnamon stick at the base of the triangle for the "tree trunk."
  2. Use the chopped red pepper to decorate the "tree" -- make the red pepper look like the ornaments.
  3. Serve with your favorite crackers.
