Easy pasta recipe using "Winter Pesto" by Evelyn/Athens here on recipezaar.com, changing serving of her pesto recipe to 1.25 and adding it to taste to this recipe.
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 3 cooked chicken breasts, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2-1 cup pesto sauce
- Mix ingredients together in baking dish and bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with a cheese of your choice and some parsley if desired! Can make ahead and store in fridge all day to heat at dinnertime.
- Can also be made with 1/2 c basil pesto.
I've had this recipe for a few years, it was given to me by a friend. I was going to post it but saw someone else already had! It's a restaurant quality meal. So simple and good!!
My family loved this! I baked it with cooked penne and added Parmesan at the end. My picky son even liked it! We will be adding this to our "rotation".
