Having an Iranian husband I make this a lot. I'm not crazy about the regular tadiq (with just plain rice) but this one I enjoy myself too. When it's ready, I sprinkle some saffron mixed with hot boiling water and the color contrast is amazing.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... I am so glad to have found this recipe. I saw this done on Martha Stewart's TV show by her Persian friend. It is a bit complicated but so worth it when you taste the results. I add turmeric to the potatoes so they turn bright yellow and crusty brown! Serve it with a Persian meat stew it's awesome!!!!people found this review Helpful.
