      Excellent rice! The cinnamon gave a wordeful taste and the turmeric a special colour. I used olive oil instead of the butter and made no others changes. The raisins and almonds made the rice so special. Thanks, Kitten!

      I made a lot of substitutions (brown rice, olive oil, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, 1/2 the turmeric) with less than satisfactory results. I recommend you make this as written.

      Made exactly as called for and loved it. The spicing is aromatic and the almonds and raisins provide a nice textural contrast and a touch of sweetness (raisins).

      Absolutely delicious! I omitted the raisins due to a personal preference but otherwise made as recipe stated. Thanks for a great recipe!
