I had this for breakfast for nearly 6 months! It's filling, tasty, and is a quick perk for any morning.
- 1⁄4 cup oatmeal
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar substitute
- 2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- Put oatmeal and water in a deep bowl and microwave on high for one minute. (Watch to see if oatmeal starts spills over; if so, take out. *Note: oatmeal does rise but doesn't always spill over).
- Stir in rest of ingredients.
This was quick and simple , though not quite as quick as the recipe states, it took about 5 minutes total, but still much easier then standing over the stove. Made for PAC Fall 09
