How to poach eggs--nice to know.
- Bring a pot of water with about 3 inches of water to a simmer.
- Add the vinegar.
- Crack an egg into a little bowl or cup, then slip the egg into the simmering water.
- You can herd the little egg white flyaways back together, but it’s not really going to do anything.
- After about 3 minutes, remove the egg.
- Repeat with other eggs.
This method worked "perfectly" for me. My egg was done in the 3 minutes exactly the way I like it cooked. Have used this recipe twice now and will continue to do so.
