Directions

  1. Mix ground beef, oatmeal,eggs,onion,salt, pepper and soup.
  2. Mold into loaf in a shallow baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
  4. Pour off excess fat.
  5. Pour catsup over loaf.
  6. Return to oven for 15 mins or until loaf is nicely glazed.

I made this for hubby and he loved it...I found that the meatloaf didn't hold together...once I sliced it...it fell apart...even the next day it didn't hold it's shape...but hubby loved it so it's getting the 5 star rating...very easy to prepare...made for Spring PAC 2013 =)

Finaly found a recipe my mom used to make. Thank you! I know it tastes great, we are having for dinner tonight!

WOW! My family loved this meal last night. The oatmeal really adds a nice texture to the meatloaf and keeps everything nice and moist. I loved the tomato soup addition instead of the standard ketchup mixed into the loaf. I did not use the ketchup glaze as a preference of the family but it really does not need it as alone it tastes wonderful! You were adopted for the Pick A Chef (PAC) event April 2008.
