"This is a yummy margarita recipe for those hot summer days!"

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 ounces Cuervo tequila or 1800 gold tequila
• 3⁄4 ounce Cointreau liqueur
• 3⁄4 ounce Grand Marnier
• 1⁄2 ounce lime juice
• 2 ounces sour mix (powdered is better)

directions

1. Mix all ingredients and serve in a chilled glass.

I picked this recipe to try because it uses both Grand Marnier and Cointreau - two orange liqueurs that are often listed as interchangeable in recipes even though the taste is quite different. I have been bartending for over 15 years and have never made a drink with both. I think the Grand Marnier added some sweetness and the Cointreau added its distinctive flavor. This was a very good margarita. Thanks Jennifer.
