Easy to make, I cut the sugar to 1/2 cup, 1 cup is what I normally use for a gallon. Great tea to get us thru until it's warm enough for sun tea. Thanks for sharing!

This really works. The only change I made was to add a little more sugar because my family really likes SWEET TEA! LOL

This recipe came in handy when I was visiting my mom's and we all wanted iced tea at the last minute. It was really good. I only used 3/4 cup sugar and it was plenty. Thanks for this easy recipe!

GREAT recipe! I started the ever-popular Atkins diet and was desperate for things I could have to drink. I used the cold-brew tead bags, about 2/3 c. Equal sweetener, and the juice of 1 fresh lemon. AWESOME!

This tea is so refreshing! I halved this recipe and gave it a go. I made this using Chamomile herbal tea bags, added a little(about 1/3 cup) more of sugar and used the juice of 1 lemon and prepared it. It's really nice! Thank you for sharing this wonderful iced tea. This will be really nice to enjoy in the peak summer months. Thanks again!

Much too sweet and strong. Easy enough to alter, but somehow it is still not the "perfect iced tea" I am in search of.

This was WAY TOO SWEET! Not only that, but it was also too strong. I made half. I used mango tea (might be the reason it was also sweet) I added a bit more water and evened it out, but still too sweet. It's a good recipe to alter though, since I never knew the 'basics' of ice tea. Next time I will use only a couple of teaspoons of sugar and 2 bags instead of 4. Thanks for this recipe!

Boy, was this ever delicious!!! I so enjoy drinking iced tea, but had never found a suitable recipe to make it until now. Next time (and it will be soon), I am going to use Splenda in place of the sugar. A very delightful refreshment to serve on a hot summer's day. Thanks a bunch, Karen.

Easy and delicious. I made this tea twice in 1 week. The 1st time for half the tea bags I useed 4 very berry flavoured tea bags, but found it abit too sweet. The 2nd batch I used 4 zesty lemon lipton teabags and 4 lipton black teabags and only used 1/2 a cup of sugar. it tasted very similar to lipton ice tea. We realy enjoyed it Thank you Karen.

Excellent tea! I omitted the sugar (personal taste) but followed rest of instructions. With the heat wave we are having, this tea really hits the spot. Thanx, Karen!

Very easy to make. I used 7 bags of tea, but may go less next time, and I omitted the lemon and sugar, I like unsweetned iced tea. Very good tea, really enjoyed.

I made this for fathers day-made 2 quarts and they asked for more so I made 2 more quarts . I used 3/4 cup of sugar and it turned out perfect!

This is really very good! It came out a bit too strong, so next time I will try using fewer teabags, probably 4-6 instead. But the method is very simple and does indeed produce a very nice tasting 2 quart sized pitcher of iced tea. I will use less sugar next time, for my preference - probably 1/2-3/4 cup would suit me better. Thanks!
