I love the density of this cornbread. It's wonderful with soup or chili.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. Mix eggs, milk and oil.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients.
  5. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

I too enjoyed the density of this corn bread and the fact that it wasn't too sweet. I served it with Salsa Chicken #27475 and Spanish Rice. This was very good, thanks for sharing, RedFred!
