  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Clean potato and pierce the skin several times.
  3. Rub the skin with olive oil, then with salt.
  4. Place in preheated oven and bake for 90 minutes.
  5. Slice down the middle and serve with butter, sour cream, chives, etc.

It was a rainy day so I decided to make baked potatoes in the oven. I didn't measure the oil or salt and used kosher salt. I cooked for 90 minutes but they were a bit dry. I made six potatoes. We still enjoyed them.
