I went to lake erie and caught our limit of lake perch. In search of a tasty way to prepare them I discovered this recipe. These were awesome.. very easy to prepare..... my wife loves lake perch and orders lake perch frequently in many restaurants. This dish rivals any she has had. Will make again and again.

Worked just the way they said it would. Heavy on the butter, but it tasted AWESOME.

I found using 1 cup or less of flour sufficent, as I had more ingredients left over after making six large perch filets. Taste was good and although, no cooking time was indicated. I use the 10 minute per inch think rule, per side.

Tasty & easy recipe. I was alittle shy on my paprika so I substituted essence/tex spice for part. Due to other reviews (& we are partial to spicy food) I cut back the spice portion abit but I think next time I'd try the full amount. Used one fresh Calling Lake Pickerel instead & it worked great, thanks for sharing.

Very yummy! I don't have much experience making anything fried, and this recipe turned out so great that I'm finally getting more comfortable making fried dishes for my "fried-food loving" husband! Very simple recipe with great flavor. My husband and I love this!

Very good, we had some lake perch that a friend gave us, lots of small fillets. I didn't have any paprika (hmmmm!) so instead added some cajun spice to the flour mixture and instead of using all butter I used a combination of mostly olive oil and butter to saute the fish in. Lets just say my husband and son got into it over whether there would be some left over!

Let me start with ..I don't like fish. Other than Perch & Pickeral that is. DH brought me some Perch so I decided to use your recipe. When I read the label turns out it was Ocean Perch :( Oh well..soldier on. Now I have to say I like both kinds cooked this way! Super recipe...thanks for posting

My DS had given me some fresh perch and I froze them to have at another time. I came on here to see if there was a good recipe to prepare them and was happy to find this one. We loved the crispy crunchy batter, and our fish was delicious!

Easy and tasty fish recipe. Maybe it was the size of my fillets, but I could've gotten away with alot less milk and flour mix. 1/2 cup of milk and 1 cup of flour would've been good. I cut back on the amount of paprika and added a lilttle seasoning salt.

Cooking fish makes me nervous, but this recipe looked pretty simple. Everyone liked it, but found it a little hot. Next time I will cut back on the paprika.

Loved it! This was quick and easy and even had my picky toddler and 1 1/2 year old eating it up! I did add some garlic tex-mex seasoning to the flour. It was a great addition. We will use this recipe often! Thanks!
