Wonderful!!! My family loved it, even my picky daughter. I even added some italian sausage. I also used a pound of pasta too.

Great dish and popular with the kids too! Tasted fantastic. I did have to increase the pasta to a whole pound since the 8 oz only covers the bottom of the pan, and you were supposed to do 2 layers.

This was soooo yummy! The whole family loved it, even my tomato hating daughter. I will admit, I did not follow the recipe to a "T". I used a whole pound of penne pasta and used 6 ounces of sliced pepperoni. I also spread some sauce on the bottom of the baking dish before layering. I served this dish with cheesy garlic bread and everyone devoured it. My husband even said that he would rather have this than one of my staple dinners, baked ziti! Thanks Inez...you are keeping meals interesting around here!

Excellent! SImply excellent! I used a dash on each layer of dried basil instead of the fresh (couldn't get my hands on it) and it came out just wonderful! Great recipe thank you!

Inez, this is one great dish! My family just devoured it. It is so quick and easy to prepare, and would be great for a "home late-what to make for dinner" night. I did as some suggested, and used the whole pound of pasta, and put a thin layer of sauce on the very bottom. I was concerned that the onions and peppers would not cook through, (family won't eat crunchy ones) so I diced them nice and small. The kids had no complaints! Great comfort food, and I'm thinking good potluck dish, too. Thanks!

This was very good. My friend loved it so much she had seconds and took some home to her hubby and son. I added some ground beef (just cause I had some). I didn't have fresh basil or "shredded" parmesan so I used chopped basil and grated parmesan. I will prepare this again and use ALL the specified ingredients. This will make a good potluck dish.

I made this up and left it for my daughter's dinner. very easy to make, I didn't have any fresh basil, so I used some dried. Daughter complained that it was too spicy, from the pepperoni I think, but did they leave me any? Not a bite!! Couldn't have been that spicy!!

Very easy recipe to prepare and great tasting, but I also recommend increasing the pasta to 16 oz. as the 8 oz called for did not seem to be enough for 2 layers. Thanks for sharing, I will be making this one again!

I thought we would love this because we both loved pepperoni as children. It seems that we have become acclimated to, and now prefer, healthy food because the pepperoni absolutely grossed me out. It is so oily that it coats your throat. My husband liked the recipe, but he also was turned off by how very very oily and fatty it was. It's not something we'll make again. Sorry.

this was excellent!! great make-ahead dish too! i used 12 oz. tri-colored rotini, pepperoni slices instead of cubes, and used homemade spaghetti sauce. i made up a day ahead and kept in the fridge until ready to bake the next evening! next time i think i'll add a layer of pepperoncini peppers! great way to use up leftover spaghetti sauce!! thanks for another keeper, inez!

Great recipe! This is very easy to make and scored 9s and 10s from our pannel of judges ( teenagers and adults). We doubled the recipe using fresh basil, magaritta peperoni and pellicanos sauce. The only thing we will change is next time we will sautethe onions and peppers as they were a little crispy for our taste. Thanks for sharing

We liked this one. It's simple and easy. We also used dried basil since we had it on hand. Tried using canned spaghetti sauce (Hunts) but I think I'd choose a different kind next time since it turned out a little "watery." Still nice though!

Made this for a party, and there was only a small amount left over to take home, so this is a keeper! Used a 9x13 baking dish, 16 ounces of pasta, about 1/2 tsp. of dried basil, and about a jar and a half of sauce. The pepperoni made this just spicy enough for us, although adults may want to sprinkle hot pepper flakes on theirs. Thank you for sharing!

I thought this was pretty good. Not fantastic, but good. I have two picky teenagers. One liked it and one didn't. Typical around here. Thanks for posting!

This was so good and so easy to put together. I used some homemade sauce which already included onions, peppers and basil so didn't add more of those ingredients.

I was so glad to have found this recipe since I had almost every ingredient on hand! This was a great end of the week meal. I substituted 1 lb of ground beef for the pepperoni (the one thing I didn't have on hand....) and my husband said he would probably prefer it that way. As for me, I can't wait to try it with the pepperoni or even italian sausage. I also used a 14 oz bag of penne, and I'm glad I did because I think for the size of this dish, it needs that many noodles. Thanks for sharing :)
