Simple appetizer made with canned biscuits.
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce) package refrigerated biscuits (10 count)
- 3⁄4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 10 slices pepperoni
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Lightly spray a 9x5-inch baking loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Open canned biscuits and flatten each biscuit with the palm of your hand.
- Place 1 pepperoni and some cheese on each biscuit.
- Form a ball with each biscuit by pulling the dough up and around the filling; pinching the edges to seal.
- Drop each ball into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Really easy, really good. I put in an extra step and rolled each ball in a combination of grated parmesan, oregano and garlic powder. I also doubled the recipe and put it in a bundt pan, so it took a bit longer to cook through. A real crowd pleaser - thanks for posting!
Made this for Christmas Eve and everybody loved it. I will do it in a pie plate next time instead of a loaf pan because for some reason my biscuits would not cook and I think one layer would cook better. Thanks!!
YUM!!!!! My mom has been making these for years and I do not know a single person who did not go absolutely NUTS for these!!!! P.S. They are good with mozzarella cheese too.
