This was a wonderful solution to an unhappy combination of a migraine and a sinus infection. I used one of those spa facial steamers which only takes about a cup of water, so reduced the oils accordingly. The peppermint made it easier to breathe and the rosemary was very relaxing. Just the smell alone was wonderful - I'm thinking about doing this on the stovetop as a simmering potpourri type of thing. Thanks for posting a wonderful, pampering (and super easy!) spa luxury that can be easily done at home. :)people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... I made this last night for my fiance, who is suffering from a head cold. I left out the rosemary oil and doubled the peppermint oil. He said it not only allowed him to breathe better, but made his throat a little less scratchy too. I could feel it opening my sinuses just standing next to him. Great remedy; thanks!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. This was great, recently quit smoking (2W 1D to be detailed) and I have been feeling really depressed and yucky. This was a great pick me up. The peppermint vapour was great when I took deep breaths. And the Rosemary soothed my nerves something I really needed. BUT the best bit was after the steam!! My skin was radiant!! It glowed AND i looked really healthy!! Thank you very much Rebekah826 for the great pick me up.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? This is WONDERFUL!!!! I've had difficulty in breathing over the past few days(nothing very serious, its just a cold that I've been fighting with natural remedies, but still, all the phlegm is inside). I tried this today and at first it felt like I was eating a mint chocolate! The smell of the peppermint essential oil travelled straight through my nose and I could feel it go down to the belly button and come out(on exhaling). It felt a bit strong, but it opened up the block!! It also cleared some nasty air bubbles in my right ear!! This was really refreshing as well. It made me feel very fresh after I was done with it. A definite keeper and I'm going to save it in my book now(for future). I just made a batch of this to share with a very dear friend(my mom!) Thanks a tonne for posting this!!!!!!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are.
