I found this a long time ago on the web. The peppermint oil stimulates while the aloe vera gel cools and moisturizes without being greasy. It feels so good on tired feet, and it's so easy to whip up. Only two ingredients! The recipe is enough for one application, but if you make more, or have any left, store it in a glass or plastic container in a cool, dry place. If you can't find the peppermint oil, your local drugstore should be able to order it for you. Happy walking!
- 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
- 1⁄2 tablespoon peppermint extract
- Combine the ingredients with a whisk or fork, and massage mixture into your feet until it's absorbed.
Rubbing this concoction on your feet feels like a whole body massage, releasing tensions as well as beeing invigorating! However...I'm almost afraid to tell my DH about this recipe because he'll want his feet rubbed all the time! Maybe we'll work a swap! Thanks Charmed.
This feels wonderful when your feet are killing you big time! I especially love the tingly sensation on my skin due to the peppermint extract. Thanks alot for posting this.
