From a McCormick spice company recipe. I haven't tried this yet.
- 1⁄4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 (16 ounce) can vanilla frosting
- Combine ingredients until well blended.
A little goes a long way! I used about 1/3 container of cream cheese frosting and about 2 drops of extract and it was perfect. This is a fantastic recipe for the holidays. I frosted some pumpkin muffins I had left over and it complimented them quite well. So simple, so minty! I can't wait to try it on some chocolate cookies or perhaps some ginger-bread men cookies.
